Would you like to:
  • Plan, organize and lead civil/site team for work and utility projects
  • Develop and implement long term business plans consistent with the company's strategic plan and financial objectives
  • Coordinate with project executive, field staff, design teams, suppliers, subcontractors and unions
  • Ensure all projects meet quality and safety standards and all company policies and procedures are met
  • Initiate and oversee to completion all assigned construction projects
  • Ensure the operations contribution to the cash flow of the company remains positive
  • Cost control and summary financial reporting for President / owners
  • Understand and apply regulations and maintain safe work environment for the organization through the project managers and superintendents
  • Maintain production controls and verify construction progress at prescribed intervals
  • Maintain competent and trained staff and guarantee a non-discrimination environment
  • Hold regular meetings with staff to maintain open communication and cultivate team mentality
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
​​​​​​Ideally you have:
  • Preferred Construction management or civil engineering degree - or equivalent experience
  • 10-15 years of project management experience in construction 
  • Demonstrated stable and consistent work history
  • Strong experience in public works contracts with State, Municipality and Federal entities highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience in Primavera software, Terra-model and with Trimble software is desirable
