We are seeking a professional receptionist who will be the firm’s first impression and it's essential to represent our friendly, authentic and Alaskan roots to our many global inquiries and visitors.

Position overview:
The receptionist provides hospitality and assistance to the firm’s clients, vendors, colleagues and guests via telephone, online and in person. You will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to assist the firm’s management team with administrative projects including office functions/meeting support, clerical work (filing, mailing, typing, etc.), account service projects, and office maintenance.

  • Answer phones, direct calls to appropriate staff members; take messages as required, check voice mail messages
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the correct location after assigning visitor badge.
  • Ensure all visitors and guests are entered on the visitor’s log.
  • Perform other clerical work (typing, filing, envelope stuffing, faxing, scanning, mail sorting, and postmarking envelopes/ packages.)
  • Prepare and track UPS and/or Federal Express packages. Receive and distribute incoming UPS and FedEx packages.
  • Schedule conference rooms
  • Monitor security camera
  • Order and maintain all office and kitchen supplies
  • Clean and all kitchen surfaces and conference rooms.
  • Provide administrative support for client services when needed.

  • One year of receptionist experience
  • Good computer proficiency
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be very flexible, work with deadlines, confidential issues, under pressure with highly developed organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency with office equipment
