Would you like to:
  • Lead all areas (including but not limited to; onboarding, HRIS, benefits compliance, learning and development)
  • Oversee full-cycle hiring
  • Ensure clear process documentation
  • Create effective recruiting and retainment processes
  • Develop and implement plans for improvement as necessary
  • Build strong vendor relationships; devise and maximize creative partnerships
  • Stay current on culture/engagement trends, best practices, updates, issues
  • Resolve organizational structural gaps
  • Strategize to recruit, train, and develop diverse, inspiring professionals
  • Provide leadership to resolve organizational issues across all teams quickly and efficiently
  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to diversify company and support business objectives
  • Coach managers on performance management, conflict resolution, corrective action
  • Provide ongoing opportunities for personal and professional growth for all employees

Ideally you have:
  • 8 years of experience leading HR/People function
  • SHRM/HR certification
  • Employee relation experience
  • Construction industry background
  • Start-up experience required
  • Track record of successful innovation of people programs and solutions
  • Experience developing and interpreting complex policies and employment-related laws
  • Technical skills: Google Apps, HRIS, Sapling, ATS, data analysis and interpretation (must be highly-tech savvy)
  • Strong ability to create engaging presentations – advanced written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to lead, influence, motivate and develop people
  • Strategic mindset, consistent focus on big-picture goals
  • Solutions-oriented, proactive problem solver essential
  • Comfortable asking hard questions, challenging conventions
  • Empathetic, warm, personable and approachable
  • Strong understanding of company-culture and support infrastructure needed
  • Ability to travel statewide
